Lady Stardust Costumes was created to provide a higher yet more visceral level of costuming. When you want to stand out at an event, we custom-design one-of-a-kind costumes that dazzle.
Founded in 2010 by Brazilian-born designer Carmela Lane, Lady Stardust Costumes is an offshoot of her highly successful performance company 26 Stars. 26 Stars rapidly won the imaginations at New York City’s most renowned nightclubs with its “outrageously sexy costumes.” Also serving as Creative Director at The TAO Group, Carmela dresses performers and attendees for A-list celebrity events. Her experience is wide ranging, having designed costumes in theater, television and film.
Working around the clock and drawing inspiration from sources as dissimilar as Astaire-Rogers musicals and the Jane Fonda camp classic Barbarella, she creates provocative, jaw-dropping creations that make headlines in major media. Amongst them: Page 6, The New York Times (the glowingly reviewed off-Broadway production of Ziegfeld’s Midnight Frolic), WPIX 11 News, People Magazine, and more.
With Lady Stardust, Carmela is bringing high-end custom costumes to you.
